ANATOMY

  • Sensations of Tension Vs Compression (Limitation & the uniqueness of the body)

  • Looking at the major joints of the body (Understanding the uniqueness of the human body)

  • Connective tissues (benefits of yin on the joints)

  • Teaching from a Functional Approach


TEACHING METHODOLOGY

  • Knowledge and understanding of Yin-Yoga (Difference between Yin and Yang style of Yoga)

  • How to communicate effectively the value of Yin-Yoga (Teaching & Voice)

  • Art of sequencing Yin-Yoga (Design classes from an anatomical or meridian point of view)


PRACTICE

  • Practice the main Yin-Yoga poses (Exploring the postures and variations)

  • Benefits and Contra Indications (Understanding the postures and their qualities)

  • Importance of breath in Yin Yoga (Leading toward a tranquil mind)
